Cincinnati Riverfront - Public Landing
Cincinnati’s Public Landing, circa 1906. From the east side walkway of the Roebling Suspension Bridge, just west of Walnut Street, the photographer was able to capture a glimpse of old Cincinnati. Looking east toward the Old Central Bridge (1893-1993), connecting Cincinnati and Newport, you also see the L & N or Purple People Bridge in the distance. The River Boats INDIANA and CINCINNATI are in clear view. Other boats docked at the Landing include Tacoma of Marietta, Queen City of Pittsburgh and The Coney Island Queen.
